Immersive Tech for marketing

Reed's Crossing needed an innovative way to help sell the vision of their housing community. Nisha and her team did just that by creating a virtual reality bike ride through the future greenway of Reed’s Crossing community.

Virtual Bike Ride

Nisha and her team built a VR experience that uses a real, physically mounted bike that a user can ride. Once on the bike, the user dons the VR HMD and then begins peddling the bike to move forward in the digital world.

Storytelling in a virtual world

Using this cutting edge, immersive technology Nisha and her team worked closely with the client to pinpoint how to best tell the story of Reed's Crossing. Visual elements like to-scale models of the actual homes in the community and the exact pathways of the future greenway were created in this virtual space.

VR as and embodied selling tool

Another critical element that Nisha and her team discovered for users was to have a guide to highlight key features of Reed's. They created a virtual guide who would specifically appeal to Reed's Crossing target audience. Then they worked on the script with the Reeds team to have her speak to the user in a friendly and informative way, staying true to the brand voice of Reed's.

This experience created excitement for the prospective homebuyers about their future community - giving an embodied sense of what it would be like to bike through the neighborhood in a way that nothing else could replicate.

One user took off the headset and said, "I know which lot I want to buy" and immediately headed out to make it happen.
